After you purchase a Subscription, ValuePak, Video ValuePak or individual Video ILT from your EMC Account Team, you will receive Training Activation notifications that will provide you with information on how to activate and register for your purchased training.
Training Notifications
Training Activation Kit– This kit pictured below is shipped from EMC to your company and contains information to help you activate and register for training.
Email Notifications– Electronic notifications will be sent to all individuals at your company who have a valid Powerlink account. If you would like only certain named individuals in your organization to receive these notifications, please contact EMC Education Services.
The notifications will be sent:
- Upon initial purchase of training
- 90 days after the purchase of training, if unused
- 120 days prior to the expiration of the training, if unused
Training Activation of Learning Paths/ValuePaks or Subscriptions
To activate/register your pre-purchased Learning Path/ValuePak or Subscription, click on ‘Training Activation’ in ‘My Learning’. All pre-purchased training that is available for activation/registration will be listed. Select the training you wish to activate/register and click on the ‘Register’ link.
Note: it is up to the individual to ensure that they have proper authorization from their manager to claim the training.
