The EMC Proven Professional program, developed and managed by EMC Education Services, is comprised of two distinct sub-programs:

Certification: The role-based certification program offers six tracks, utilizes advanced curricula, and requires proctored exams to meet industry and EMC standards for certification.

• * Storage Technologist for any professional with responsibility for planning, designing, managing or using storage technology.
• * Storage Administrator for customers or partners managing information infrastructure using EMC technology.
• Technology Architect for partners that provide storage architecture and design.
• Customer Engineer for service partners that install and maintain EMC solutions.
• Implementation Engineer for partners providing implementation and configuration services.
• * Application Developer for customers or partners with the responsibility for developing and customizing EMC applications.
• * System Administrator for customers or partners with the responsibility for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of EMC applications.
• * Product/Technology Specific Certification: This category validates individual skills in focused product or technology areas.

EMC Proven Professional features three levels of recognition to differentiate the knowledge and skills of certified professionals as they advance their expertise.

Each level is achieved by passing the associated, proctored exam(s).

	Foundation-level recognition of storage technology knowledge
	Advanced-level achievement in information management solutions
	Highest-level achievement in integrating information management solutions

 

Accreditation: The sales and systems engineer (SE) accreditation program for EMC Velocity² Partners instructs and tests partners on properly positioning EMC solutions in the market.
